Who We Are

Originally established as Textile Conservation in 1989 and based in Banwell, Somerset, the studio became a limited company in 2005 and moved to Bristol in 2008.  The in-house conservation team covers a range of specialisms within textile conservation including the treatment of costume, tapestries, upholstery, flags and contemporary art.  They also give talks, run workshops and participate in professional, educational and research activities including supporting new and emerging conservators through offering work experience.

The studio also has links to conservators working in allied specialisms including books, paper and other organic materials.
